About me
Jamie Burciaga serves as the State Coordinator for Foster Care Education at the Colorado Department of Higher Education. She brings with her over 10 years of experience at the state level of supporting communities in Colorado in different areas of Education. She holds a B.A. from Metropolitan State University of Denver in Human Development and a Master’s certificate Adams State University in Public Administration. From 2012-2021, Jamie worked at the Colorado Department of Higher Education. Jamie was an Outreach and Access Coordinator for state of Colorado and worked as a project coordinator with Colorado Gear Up and ended her time at the Department of Higher Education in shared position with the Colorado Department of Human Services as an Education Coach who worked with former foster youth and the Education Training Voucher program.
