About me
Jennicca Mabe began her school counseling career in Colorado in 2004 and has acquired a variety of experiences working with Colorado students, staff, and communities in both urban and rural areas. Her experience as a building counselor at the secondary level guided Jennicca to traveling around the state and the country leading trainings and promoting social-emotional learning. While working as a counseling administrator in the Colorado Springs area, Jennicca used her love of counseling to empower staff to equip students for the future, build equity, and lead pro-social initiatives. She is both honored and challenged to work at the Colorado Department of Education to continue the work of the School Counselor Corps Grant and further the impact of post-secondary and workforce readiness for Colorado schools. Jennicca enjoys her family and the outdoors.
